Replacement of a "failing" lintel. The outer wythe of face brick was removed to allow access to the existing steel lintel. Once exposed, the steel lintel was replaced with a new steel lintel that was shop primed. Flashing was placed over the steel lintel and sash cord "weep" holes were spaced at 16" O.C. in the masonry "head" joints above the steel lintel.
